This seminar will cover seminal and ground-breaking literature in the field of computer-supported collaborative learning. We will read and discuss papers on topics including learning with technology, learning in pairs and groups, distributed cognition. We will also discuss the research methodologies used in this field, including discourse analysis, assessment of learning, and eye tracking. Because students will be required to write short papers, we will also discuss scientific writing in terms of style, format, content, and common mistakes.
